The Leica Absolute Scanner LAS-XL is the handheld laser scanner designed for large-scale digitization tasks. For parts that are larger with hidden features, traditional scanning methods have always presented challenges with the time consuming process of full digitization and CAD modeling. With a scanning line of up to 600mm wide, this scanner alleviates that roadblock with scanning process times that are three times faster. Ideal for less complex surfaces and pieces, the LAS-XL retaines accuracy within 150 microns.

The LAS-XL laser scanner is automatically recognized by the Leica Absolute Tracker AT960, allowing quick changes between 3D scanning, probing and reflective measurement.

Customizable pre-set scanning modes selectable from the body of the scanner, giving access to the right measurement profile at the right time without software adjustments.
