Exact Metrology Has Successful Open House in Brookfield

Exact Metrology hosted its annual Open House at their Brookfield, Wisconsin location on Thursday, June 6, 2019, from 9 am to 3 pm central standard time. The company is located at 20515 Industry Avenue. Many old clients, as well as new ones, were on hand to learn about the company’s new technologies. Clients attended several breakout sessions, discussing Polyworks software, Geomagic software and GOM CT scanning. The company’s marketing manager prepares his August trip to Peru with Peruvian archeologist to collect scan data Jason Kleinhenz, the Exact Metrology marketing manager and a degreed engineer, is getting ready to visit Peru from August 5 to August 19. He will be assisting archeologist and teacher, Daniel Fernandez-Davila and a group of 12. Kleinhenz wants to collect scan data with the Artec scanners (sponsored and supplied by Artec) of ancient artifacts and up to three monoliths. Exact Metrology Scans Bobblehead for Museum

Exact Metrology was hired by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to scan their “Classic Bobble Boy” bobblehead. The bobblehead was scanned with the Hexagon Romer absolute arm. The portable measuring arm allows users to measure on the machine or the shop floor.

Exact Metrology Helps Create Red Stockings Pavilion Sculptures

The Cincinnati Reds celebrated their 150th anniversary as the nation’s first all-professional baseball team by dedicating a pavilion outside the ballpark on May 5, 2019. Local Cincinnati artist, Tom Tsuchiya, created relief figures of the members of the 1869 team that adorn a gazebo highlighting the site. It includes 12 bronze busts of 10 players, the club president and secretary. Tom also designed the player statues around the Great American Ball Park. Exact Metrology Preserves History with Scanned Replica of Statue

Exact Metrology worked with the Reading Historical Society museum in Cincinnati, Ohio to scan a replica of a World War I statue. The original statue was created in 1919 and it sits atop a monument for those who bravely served during World War I. This monument was the first World War I monument in Reading and one of the first in the U.S. A few years ago, a replica was created and placed in the Reading Historical Society museum in Cincinnati, Ohio.
